On December 23, 2007, our youth and some adults (about 35-40
in all) from our congregation went to Bristol Glen (UMH) to
sing Christmas Carols to the senior citizens. On top of that,
the youth also visited the homes of three families in need
of Christmas cheer in order to lend their voices to those
people's ears. It was an emotional day for us and those we
visited and the Holy Spirit was certainly with us on this
trip.
Today (January 3, 2008) I received a card
back from Bristol Glen that I would like to share with all
who are in the youth, as well as all who are in our congregation.
I am sharing this with you, not to brag, but to show you
that a difference can be made if we all just get up and
follow Christ. Together, we can make a difference. There
will be more missional works that our youth will be getting
involved with. Support them by
joining them in their efforts to make a difference! We are
all called to serve!
